Hi guys. This is Max Tapper again for HowCast. And what I’m going to do today is just answer a question. What is circuit training?
Well, what circuit training is is very simple. What you do is choose a successive group of exercises. Let’s say we choose five. Chest press, lateral raises for our shoulder, a pull down for our back, lunges and then abs. Five exercises. All we do is do them back to back in order until we’re finished, and then we start them all over again. So our first exercise, we start off with our chest press for our chest. Second, we’re into lateral raises for our shoulders. Next we’re going right into our pull downs for our back. Then we have our lunges or squats for our legs, then abs. That is a total circuit. And you just repeat it two, three, four times and you are completely done with your exercise and your workout. So a circuit is just a successive group of exercises done back to back with no rest in between. We got that? So guys, get out there and do your circuits. They’re an awesome way to burn calories, awesome way to work on your cardiovascular system, an awesome way to work on your musculature and just balance your body in a nice way. So get out there.
